New Nation Radio SA is a radio broadcasting division of New Nation Broadcasting which was founded in 2020 July. We are registered with the CIPC and other bodies governing the broadcasting industry. We are a Christian faith based radio station operating digitally at the moment. We have much hope to upgrade to a community radio soon. We are based in Kwadukuza(King Shaka Street,Old Pages building) in the Ilembe region however as a digital radio, however some of our programmes (Pray for All Nations) have gained listenership in countries abroad. Our presentation will give you more inside of what we are doing.
As you can see on the presentation that we put our community first, our aim is to provide accurate service to all our listeners in different categories and still be able to maintain decency and quality programme outcome.
The role that we have played in the community not only in Ilembe but even out of the province as we have been able to assist music artists like: CulMan who is based in Ntumbane at Piet Rietief, Lee Nolliey(14) RnB singer based at Emerlo, King B Mizly also in Piet Rietief, Natal Savages in Port Shepstone, SubZ in Durban, Sac 1 and many more the majority being our local artists. These musicians have begun to see their dreams becoming a reality as they now can hear their music playing on our radio station. In total we have a number of 21 music artists that we are assisting with different kinds of assistance as per each artist's needs. Some had already completed their projects when we found them. However, the challenge of going further from there is quite common upon all of them.
Some of these artists come whilst still in a stage of recording and we provide them with the facility to record their music and master it, we continue to assist them with registrations of their projects. New Nation Radio SA then upload their music onto the playlist and also do On Air interviews during a programme "Shine On Ntwana." By so doing we seek to help them achieve exposure, awareness and to create their brands as they work their way into the music industry.
We have many more to innovative ideas to assist these youths so they don't find themselves idling around drugs dominated streets of South Africa.
The genre Maskandi cannot go unmentioned as we also have a programme Iciko Lomaskandi which also helps upcoming artists with their projects, they gain exposure and awareness through airplays, interviews and live performances together with all other artists of other genres.
We have began a Music - Free Mode Campaign which is operated through our online app store New Nation Store(online) . We are working tirelessly to get them to speed as we have already rolled out the project. The job still continues as only 20% of these artists have been uploaded onto this category due to long standing delays in signing consent. This campaign will assist in popularizing artists before going commercial. Though some whose projects show readiness, have already been listed on other digital stores world wide and now awaiting release dates. Lee Nolliey
We are thankful to all community members and listeners all over the world for supporting us from the day we began this radio project. We urge more support from other organizations and stakeholders, we also wish to extend this invitation to all community groups to support these youngsters in the good work they are doing while other youngsters are out on street corners awaiting to harm hard working and law abiding citizens like you and I.

Harambee and African Heritage and others gave a magnificent presentation during this seminar.

New Nation Records
The record label exists as New Nation Records and operates parallel to the radio station in the same premises.
The purpose for the record label is to make sure that artists are well managed. We offer extra support including registration assistance with the relevant organizations that govern the music industry as well as live performances. We have signed artists like Mthobeleni Khanyi AKA Isichomane SakwaMvubu( Maskandi) whom the company has and Thulasizwe Mathenjwa G.O.D. These very promising young stars have completed their first music projects and are now available on digital stores world wide. We are planning to start their music videos soon which will also be sent to relevant places for airplay.
